Why did you choose to do Global?
I chose to do global because as cheesy as it sounds I thought it would allow me to experience once in a life time experiences. I also believe that it would allow me to take the arts which I’m not very good at. Obviously the travelling was a big bonus. My sister also took this program five years ago and I thought it would be interesting to be able to talk to her about her experiences and mine, in how they may have been similar or different.
How has Global changed you?
Global has made me appreciate time more and has shown me even more that the effort you put in will pay off in the end. Speaking of time you will appreciate sleep a lot more once you do global. It allowed me to see new perspectives and understand new concepts.
What is your favourite Global memory?
C2N week as hectic as it was, it was fun helping other groups out and eating different foods. Also another one of my favourite memories were the heart to hearts I had with people in Cuba.
What is your favourite Global quote?
What would you tell future Global students?
Have an opened mind to all the projects and enjoy all of them. As time consuming or as little time you may have my one regret is not enjoying the unique projects. You will never again turn a portable into a new country. Also talk to everyone in the class, it’s really nice to have a close class, you practically do everything together so you want to enjoy each other’s company!
Finally DON’T PROCRASTINATE!!!!!!!!!!
